The site is in a central location and is on a bus route and is only two miles from the famous surfing beach of Perranporth. There is a golf course within three miles, and many attractions such as the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, and the Eden Project are both within easy reach. The 2012 South West Region Summer Meet is being organised by Cornwall DA and will be held over the middle weekend of a two week Holiday Site, at Higher Golla Touring and Caravan Park, Penhallow, Truo, Cornwall, 6th-20th July. The site which has a Shop, looks across a lovely valley with fine views of the countryside beyond. There are plenty of peaceful lanes nearby for those who enjoy walking or cycling. It is also situated only two miles from the superb three mile long beach at Perranporth where you will find all modern amenities. The A30, Cornwall's main trunk road is approximately 2.5 miles away, making the site centrally situated and ideal for touring around Cornwall. There is horse riding, an 18 hole golf course, gliding club and fishing lakes together with several Inns nearby which offer good food and drink.
